ABA + Academic Support Pods

Helping Families Balance Therapy and Learning — Without Choosing One Over the Other
For many families of neurodivergent children, one of the biggest challenges is this:

Do we prioritize therapy… or school?

Children receiving consistent ABA therapy often require significant time and support throughout the day. At the same time, families are still responsible for ensuring their child is engaged in learning.
And for many parents, it can feel like you have to choose.
• Pull back on therapy to make time for school
• Or focus on therapy and worry about falling behind academically
But what if you didn’t have to choose?
At Rocli, we’ve created a model that allows children to receive both — at the same time.
Our Academic Support Pods are designed specifically for students receiving ABA therapy who also need structured, individualized academic support in a setting that works for them.
Because the reality is…
While some children may thrive in traditional school environments, others — especially those with higher support needs — benefit from:
• consistent therapy support
• smaller, more flexible learning environments
• individualized instruction at their level
And that’s okay.

We’re not here to replace therapy — we’re here to support it.
Rocli is not an ABA provider.
We partner with ABA teams to create an environment where children can:

• continue receiving therapy
• engage in meaningful academic learning
• build independence and participation skills
All within one structured, supportive space.

A Collaborative Approach —
Not a Competing One
Rocli works alongside ABA providers, not in place of them.
We believe the best outcomes happen when:

• therapists focus on behavior and communication goals
• educators support academic engagement and learning
• families don’t have to choose between the two
This model allows everyone to stay in their lane — while supporting the whole child.

Why This Program Exist
Families receiving intensive therapy often face a difficult choice between therapy hours and school participation.

Many children receiving ABA therapy require 20–40 hours of therapy each week, making traditional school environments difficult to maintain.
At the same time, children are still required to receive an education.
Rocli Academic Support Pods were designed to help bridge this gap by providing structured academic support alongside therapy schedules.
Instead of families having to choose between therapy or education, this model allows them to access both.
Pod Structure
Academic Support Pods serve approximately 5 students per session, with the option to accommodate up to 6 students when appropriate.
Each child remains supported by their ABA therapist during the session while Rocli’s educator provides academic instruction.
Available schedules include:
Morning Pod
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Afternoon Pod
12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Full-Day Pod
9:00 AM – 3:30 PM

What Happens During Sessions
Sessions include:

• individualized teacher instruction rotations
• therapist-supported learning activities
• communication-based tasks
• functional academics
• small group learning opportunities
• structured transitions and reinforcement support

Instruction focuses on school readiness, functional academics, communication, and participation.
