ABOUT US

Why Rocli Exists

Rocli was created out of lived experience — not theory.

My name is Feleshia Sams, and I am the parent of a Level 3 autistic, non-speaking child. Like many families, we began by trusting the traditional systems meant to support our children.

Public school quickly proved to be a poor fit.
Communication was limited. Support was inconsistent. Safety and regulation were ongoing concerns.
Even when we hoped our child’s ABA therapist could accompany her to school, that option wasn’t permitted.

Private school wasn’t realistic either — financially or logistically.
And full-day school schedules didn’t align with the intensive therapies my child needed in order to thrive.

What we needed didn’t exist.

So I built it.

What Rocli Is — and Why It’s Different

Rocli is a micro-learning center designed for neurodivergent children who need:

  • structure without overwhelm

  • learning without full-day school

  • socialization in small, supportive groups

  • flexibility to continue therapies

Rocli is not daycare and not a full-time school.

Instead, we offer 2-hour learning blocks in small groups (up to 4 children) that can be combined with:

  • homeschooling

  • ABA therapy

  • speech and OT

  • other alternative education paths

This model allows children to receive intentional instruction and social connection without sacrificing the therapies that are critical to their development.

Built by a Parent — for Parents

Rocli was designed with one core belief:

Families should not have to choose between education, therapy, and their child’s well-being.

At Rocli:

  • parents remain in the driver’s seat

  • learning is individualized

  • placement is intentional

  • communication is open and ongoing

Everything we do is shaped by the realities parents face every day — especially those raising children with higher support needs.

The Rocli Roadmap™: The Foundation

Every family begins with the Rocli Roadmap™.

The Roadmap is a parent-led, IEP-style planning process that:

  • looks at learning, regulation, and life skills

  • helps determine readiness for small-group learning

  • creates a plan that works at Rocli and at home

Some families use the Roadmap to enroll in the center.
Others use it to guide homeschooling or therapy — even if they live in another state.

Either way, families leave with clarity, direction, and a plan they can actually use.

Our Mission

Rocli exists to provide affordable, flexible, and supportive learning options for families whose children don’t fit traditional systems.

You are not behind.
You are not failing.
You simply need the right structure.

And that’s what Rocli is here to offer.

THERAPY COLLABORATION AT ROCLI

Supporting Therapy — Not Replacing It

Rocli does not provide therapy or medical services.

Instead, we are designed to work alongside therapy, not compete with it.

Many of our families participate in:

  • ABA therapy

  • speech therapy

  • occupational therapy

  • other support services

Our model allows families to continue these services while also providing structured learning and social opportunities.

Bringing Your Therapist to Rocli

If your child benefits from 1:1 therapeutic support, their ABA therapist or behavior support professional may attend Rocli Blocks with them.

This option is ideal for children who:

  • are not yet ready to participate independently in a small group

  • need support with transitions, regulation, or communication

  • are working toward greater independence over time

To accommodate this collaboration, Rocli charges a monthly therapy coordination fee to account for:

  • space usage

  • scheduling coordination

  • staff collaboration

(Your therapy provider continues to bill insurance separately.)

A Bridge Toward Independence

For many children, having a therapist attend blocks is temporary.

Our goal is to:

  • support regulation and participation

  • build confidence in a group setting

  • gradually reduce reliance on 1:1 support when appropriate

Progress is guided through the Rocli Roadmap™ and ongoing parent communication.

Need a Therapy Referral?

If your child does not currently have a therapist, we may be able to:

  • share referrals

  • recommend next steps

  • help you determine readiness for group learning
